Origins Alphabet is an exploration into mankind’s very first written alphabet. Taking inspiration from Ancient Egyptian, Chinese and Arabic, the calligraphy of this imagined mother alphabet feels slightly familiar but still foreign. We should all feel connected to her in some way but still a stranger to the text’s meaning or pronunciation.
The alphabet therefore represents the purest and idealized form of Language and all that she can create, reveal, and achieve for us wherever she shows up.
